Just a few days away from the premiere of the Live-Action Rurouni Kenshin, the rock band ONE OK ROCK released on their official YouTube channel the music video for their new single “The Beginning.” These new songs will be the theme for the film, and will be available for purchase on August 22

A 1 minute promo for the new Rurouni Kenshin live action movie premiered today on the film’s official website, which features The Beginning, the theme song, by ONE OK ROCK.
Keishi Ōtomo will be directing the film while the cast has Takeru Satoh playing Rurouni, Emi Takei playing Kaoru Kamiya, Yuu Aoi playing Megumi Takani, Munetaka Aoki as the part of Sanosuke Sagara, Taketo Tanaka doing Yahiko Myōjin, Kouji Kikkawa as Jine Udō, Yosuke Eguchi playing Hajime Saitō, and Teruyuki Kagawa playing Kanryū Takeda.
The film will premiere in Japan on August 25th.
Rurouni Kenshin Live-Action Film TV Ad Posted
The official website for the new live-action film adaption of Ruroni Kenshin manga has began streaming a 60-second television commercial this Friday. The ad features the theme song “The Beginning” by the rock band ONE OK ROCK.
Keishi Otomo will be directing the film with the 22 year old actor Takeru Satoh who plays Rurouni Kenshin, and 17 year old Emi Takeki who plays Kaoru Kamiya. Yuu Aoi will play Megumi Takani, Munetaka Aoi plays Sanosuke Sagara, and Taketo Tanaka plays Yahiko Myojin. Kouji Kikkawa plays Jine Udo, Yosuke Egichi plays Hajime Saito, and finally Teruyuki Kagawa will play Kanryu Takeda.

The Studio Swan produced movie will have Keishi Otomo as the director and feature Takeru Satoh as Kenshin, Munetaka Aoki as Sagara and Emi Takei and Kaoru.
It is scheduled to be released in Japan on 25 August 2012.
The live-action Rurouni Kenshin film was announced last year on June 28, and a new promo for the film was just featured on the NTV show ZIP! The role of Kenshin Himura will be played by the actor Takeru Satō, and the movie will open in Japanese theaters on August 25, 2012. Hopefully, we’ll see an adaptation hit the states not too long after, but for now, we’ll just have to enjoy this promo!
